Upcoming Xbox One and PlayStation 4 Games for May

May 6th- MLB 14: The Show (PlayStation 4)

One of the most anticipated sports games every year. MLB 14 The Show makes its next-gen debut on the PS4 system, utilizing the system's vast resources to deliver exceptionally detailed and fluid gameplay. With improvements to presentation, a wealth of added animations, and a dramatic increase in environment and player detail, we are setting out to create the best-looking and best-playing baseball sim ever created. Some major new features include Online Franchise, year-to-year saves,  new player-lock, and Quick Counts to speed up the pace of every game you play, if you choose.

May 6th- Sportsfriends (PlayStation 4)

Sportsfriends is a tight-knit compendium of award-winning local multiplayer games for living rooms, parties, and even backyards! Featuring: retro-styled fighting game BaraBariBall, QWOP-like pole vault dueling game Super Pole Riders, high-velocity sports game Hokra, and face-to-face physical party game Johann Sebastian Joust. This game was funded by kickstarter and could be a very fun downloadable game to play with your buddies with local multiplayer.

May 6th- Titan Attacks (PlayStation 4)

As the last surviving tank commander on Earth, single-handedly turn back the evil invading alien army, drive back the Titans across the Solar System, and defeat them on their homeworld. Battle swarms of alien fighters, bombers and giant boss motherships, over 5 unique worlds and 100 levels of frantic action. The game came out on steam in February but now you will be able to enjoy it on your PS4.

May 6th- Stick it to the Man! (PlayStation 4)

Stick it to the Man is the free game for the month of May for PlayStation Plus members. Ray has a bizarre accident and wakes up with a giant pink spaghetti arm sticking out of his brain! With his awesome new powers he can read minds and change the world with stickers but soon enough he finds himself on the run for a crime he didn’t commit. Can you help Ray out of this sticky situation?

May 9th- Bound by Flame (PlayStation 4)

In the action/RPG Bound by Flame, you are a mercenary possessed by a flame demon in an ambitious Dark Fantasy universe. As a victim of this demonic influence, players will have to choose between the powers offered by this evil or rejection of the demonic influence in order to develop heroic talents instead. Dangers, and enemies becoming more terrifying and fearsome in battle, will be temptations to acquire more power by giving up part of the hero's soul to the demon. Progression of the demonic influence will be reflected by the transformation of the hero's body.

May 20th- Transistor (PlayStation 4)

In Transistor, players assume the role of a young woman who gains control of a powerful weapon after a mysterious group of assailants nearly kills her with it. Now she must fight from street to street against forces that will stop at nothing to recover the weapon. During the course of the adventure, players will piece together the Transistor's mysteries as they pursue its former owners.

May 20th- Wolfenstein: The New Order (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Wolfenstein: The New Order is a re-imagining of the classic FPS franchise. Intense, cinematic and rendered in stunning detail with id® Software's id Tech® 5 engine, Wolfenstein sends players across Europe on a mission to bring down the Nazi war machine. Infiltrate their most heavily guarded facilities, battle high-tech Nazi legions, and take control of super-weapons that have conquered the earth - and beyond.

May 27th- Watch Dogs (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Definitely one of the most anticipated games of the 2014. Watch Dogs blends cutting-edge technologies and sophisticated game design into a realistic and living open world where players must use any means at their disposal to take down a corrupt system. Watch Dogs' planned DLC appears to offer a hefty update by adding a new playable character with their own campaign, and a number of other additions. The season pass will be a large part to add more to the game at a cost ofv$19.99 and it will offer players a new single-player campaign, and the chance to play as T-Bone.

Other possible May releases:

R.B.I. Baseball 14 (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

The last-gen, and mobile versions of the game have already been released, but we are still waiting for the current-gen versions to be released. It seems like May is a possibility but right now all we know for this version of the game is "Spring."

The Golf Club (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

The Golf Club's release date is still not known, and it does sound like May is unlikely, but the game is in early release on Steam and it seems that it is getting close to be ready for console. We won't get our hopes up for May but it is still possible although June is more likely.

Minecraft (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

We have been hearing Minecraft will come to PS4 and Xbox One "Soon" for quite awhile now. It doesn't seem like May will be the month it happens, but we won't rule anything out.
