It is very possible that people waiting to play Elder Scrolls Online for their Xbox One or Playstation 4 might have to wait another 6 months to do so. The game was scheduled to release in June but according to the FAQ section of the official Elder Scrolls Online website, they need six more months to finish the game. That post has now been deleted and now only the first sentence of the post is still there. The original post read...
"The Elder Scrolls Online officially launched on April 4, 2014 on PC and Mac," said the F.A.Q, "While it has become clear that our planned June release of the console versions isn't going to be possible, we have made great progress, we have concluded that we'll need about six more months to ensure we deliver the experience our fans expect and deserve."

It would be unfortunate to have to wait until the end of the year for ESO on console but it seems like it is very possible. The post has now been deleted so we will have to wait to find out how true it actually is. We will keep updated on the story. Six months is a long time to wait, especially considering the computer version of the game came out early last month.
