There is a rumor starting to float around that there will be a Call of Duty Modern Warfare Collection coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 11/25/14. Nothing has been confirmed by Activision yet so we will still consider this a rumor but it is very interesting. The collection would have full remastered campaigns from all of the Modern Warfare games and claims to run in full 1080p at a constant 60 frames per second.
The Modern Warfare games are definitely some of the best Call of Duty games that have been out and this could be a nice collection if it does actually happen. If the date is true, it would release a week after CoD: Advanced Warfare releases. We just learned about the Halo collection that will release this year so it is appearing that 2014 might become the year of remakes for the the new current generation systems. Of course with no backwards compatibility present on the new systems this is a nice way to play some of your favorite games from the past. Will it make people angry that they have to pay again to play the games they already have owned or will people welcome these next-gen remakes to allow them to enjoy some of their old favorites with updated graphics?
